Tel Aviv, Israel, 72 December 2021 / PRNewswire: Monogoto, the global cloud-based mobile connectivity provider, is pleased to welcome CBRSense. To its network. CBRSense ™ is the first low-power multi-purpose IoT sensor to communicate through private networks.

Monogoto partnered with SODAQ, an IoT hardware company specializing in the development of IoT solutions and Sequans Communications SA (NYSE: SQNS), a leading provider of massive, broadband IoT chips and modules – to build CBRSense ™.

Senori and CBRSense

Integrating a low-power, battery-powered IoT sensor into the CBRS network represents a step-by-step change in the range of previously unsupported devices. CBRSense ™ opens up a world of opportunities for many industries that have decided to choose CBRS as their network. Compared to what is currently on the market, the new low-cost sensor can be used by any country and enjoys a lifespan of more than one year.

This successful collaboration began when Sequans strategically allowed low-power modems in CBRS networks, enabling SODAQ sensors to be integrated with private networks.

CBRS (Broadband Citizen Radio Service) refers to a 3.5 GHz spectrum block, designated by the FCC for public use. This provides enterprises with an efficient way to build their own private LTE networks. For a significant increase in CBRS to occur, network capabilities require further development, which in turn will lead to more usage cases.

The future of 5G development depends on different uses within the same network (network cut). CBRSense ️ ️ demonstrates usage cases for the CBRS network previously dominated by high speed CAT 12 CPE and EU usage cases.

Monogoto CEO Itamar Kunik says: ‘We are very pleased to be the first network capable of hosting such a wide range of low power devices. Our partnership with SODAQ and Sequans was a true collaboration in every sense that allowed us to bring this innovation to the CBRS ‘ecosystem.

The three companies will be exhibiting at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Fair (CES) from 5-8 January 2022, offering a first presentation of their innovative technology.
